I'm pretty sure *Kitchigai-Koji-2 has already ranted about this recently but I'm going to say anyway.  I am really sick of browsing through the photographic section of DevArt and finding photo after photo that is nothing more than soft porn but is labeled "Artistic Nude."  
Here are two examples of what I'm talking about.  If you are under 18 or have issues with the naked human form I suggest you don't click on these links as they both contain mature content.

Yet they are both post in the same category.

I don't have a problem with the glamour portraits or pin-ups, most of those are pretty cool.  I find most of the fetish portraits disturbing but they're clearly labelled, the photographer is being perfectly honest about the content of the work.  But "Artistic Nude" seems to cover everything from true nude portraits to straight up pornography masquerading as art.  Now to be clear, I don't have a moral objection to porn, I don't like porn personally because I find it disgusting to look at, human genitals are not attrative.  But the existence of porn, and the porn industry doesn't offend me unless they are blatantly exploiting vulnerable people to make their products.  What does offend me, is porn pretending to be art, like so many of the photographs in the "artistic nude" section of this site.  If you're going to take spank-photo's fine, but be honest about what they are and find a friendly amateur porn site to post them on, don't pretend that what you're doing is art.  It's not, it's just wank-fodder, it's not artistic or original or clever, it's just porn.
